Lash Styles

It can be quite confusing trying to pick which type of lashes to go for.

Here we will explain the differences and try to help you decide.

Classic Lashes

Classic Lashes are the application of one extension to each natural lash (1:1)

These can add length and thickness to your lashes but will not add volume to sparse lashes.

Volume Lashes

Volume (Russian) Lashes are the application of multiple finer extensions (called a fan) to each natural lash (from 2:1 to 10:1)

These can also add length and thickness to lashes but will also add volume to give a fuller look to the lashes.

Hybrid Lashes

Hybrid Lashes are a mixture of both classic and volume techniques, alternating between individual extensions and fans, which gives a more natural wispy lash look.

Extension Types

Extensions come in all different lengths, thicknesses and curls which can determine the look you get. Plus with volume lashes, the number of lashes applied can be varied to suit. During a consultation, we will discuss the look that you are wanting and what will work for you.

Not all lengths/thicknesses are suitable for everyone. If you have very short fine natural lashes they will not be able to safely take the weight of the longest, thickest extensions.
